Vaginal bleeding ?: Vaginal bleeding mid-cycle with lower abdominal discomfort may indicate pregnancy outside the uterus (ectopic). If on low dose bcp's, taking them even a few hours later than the previous day's active pill can cause breakthrough bleeding and cramping. See your gyn physician for an exam and potential other testing.
