I'm 70 lbs over weight i'm nursing my twin babies i'm also on the depo shot so i'm not loosing any weight from breastfeeding. is their anything i can take safely that won't harm my babies and is in liquid or injection form i hate pills ?

Consider IUD: The side effects of depo shot(medroxyprogesterone) include weight increase, headache, and liver dysfunction. Overweight individuals are at higher risk to develop headache by elevating intracranial pressure and liver damage due to fatty liver. Given these adverse effects of depo shot, consulting your OB/Gyn doctor for other option of contraception would be prudent.

See below: Agree with Dr. P about changing to IUD for contraception. Weight loss needs reduction in intake and increase in physical activity. Neither of these may be practical but weight loss medications are not an answer. You may wish to consult a nutritionist and joining a support group like weight watchers may help.
