Yes: Food allergy in a nursing mother should cause no adverse symptoms in the baby.

No problem: If your infant is not allergic to the food, there should be no problem. In fact, very little food protein is present in breast milk.

Yes: Your allergic reaction will not transfer to your breasted baby. If you took any medications for your reaction, however, you should be sure that they will not harm your baby before you continue breastfeeding immediately. Best wishes.
