HPV ?'s: HPV 18 is a subtype of the virus, and can cause cervical cell abnormalities which can lead to more serious problems if not treated. Males may of course also catch HPV, but the conversion to serious abnormalities is unusual in men. The only screening is by exam and biopsy in males. Fortunately, HPV and be treated and risks substantially reduced.
