Some time i feel stabbing dull pain just below left nipple, it's random can be any time and just last for 1-2 seconds. i did 4 ecgs in one month all are normal. my doctor says it's all due to anxiety as my father passed away due to heart failure.

Stabbing pain: Such fleeting chest pains without associated cough are usually not serious but are due to an irritable superficial nerve in the chest wall or a pinched nerve in the rib cage especially if provoked by a deep breath. If you haven't already had one,get a chest xray to rule out lung pathology and give you peace of mind.
