Basics: A warm compress applied regularly to the area can increase blood flow & possibly bring this out to mature & drain. When if it persists or causes pain it may need to be drained in the office. Sometimes minor ones will respond to heat plus an oral antibiotic, but surgical drainage is the definitive treatment.
