Treat symptoms: Viruses can cause widespread symptoms that can occur at different times and "spread" to different areas. Typical infection and symptom sites include eyes, nasopharynx, throat, ears, bronchi, lungs etc. Treat symptomatically with Pain relievers, fever reducers, cough suppressant, throat pain sprays, decongestant. See a Dr for fever over 103, difficulty breathing and persistent chest pain.

Infection: I agree with Dr. Kratzberg. I am not really certain what type of infection or what type of symptoms/signs your are referring to. So, it makes it hard to provide advice. Remember, if you are uncomfortable with your symptoms, many providers now often virtual consultations - which can allow for visualization as well as history.
