Some basics: If you have shortness of breath or difficulty with breathing you would be within the group of covid-19 patients most in need of testing & likely to need hospital based care. If not the choice depends on the availability. If easily obtained it may give you peace, but getting in line to test may not be wise. I would contact your doc.

COVID 19: These sx's could be related to COVID 19 or a number of other causes. I don't know if you live in ZA or USA? But either way a telemedicine or virtual medicine consult can help to sort this out. Get urgent care for difficulty breathing, blue lips, persistent significant chest pain/ pressure or new onset confusion.

See below: Covid-19: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html Please contact your doctor by phone for further evaluation and mechanism for testing in your area. Wear a mask, stay away from others, practice hand hygiene. Be sure to get tested, if you get symptoms. If you develop breathing difficulty, go to the nearest hospital, immediately. Wish you good health.
