Meloxicam: Meloxicam and other such medication known as nsaids can cause elevated blood pressure as a side effect. Keep followup with your doctor to monitor this.

Too big a risk: Meloxicam and several other nsaids increase the risk of heart attacks. In someone who already has increased risk, i would suggest that this med not be used.
