Ive been taking yaz bcp for 6-7 years without bigger issues. these last couple of months i have been experiencing breakthrough bleeding, darker spots on the skin on my face, bloating, etc. should i try switching to a higher or lower dose pill?

BCP ?'s: Yaz is a low dose oral bcp, and requires punctuality to avoid breakthrough bleeding. The active pills should be taken within the hour of the previous day's active pill. Stop if you have bleeding, wait five days, and start a new pack. If bleeding continues , ask your gyn for a different brand.
