Good day i have a gold u shaped tooth that i got 8 yrs ago, i have noticed that the same tooth is turning black, this is not looking good as i cant even smile confidently.is it possible to take the gold out, and will my tooth go back to normal.

Dental Restoration: Removing the gold will not result in the tooth returning to "normal". You'll need to have a porcelain restoration fabricated. Please consult with a local dentist.

See Dentist: Discoloration may be due to your restoration not being goldbug instead other metals that are corroding, or the tooth may be severely decayed. Treatment will depend on the cause of the discoloration. Just removing the restoration will not resolve the discoloration. Tooth colored restoration may be required, and/or bleaching.
