Fever in a child: Fever in a child can be due to a variety of causes. Right now, Covid is one of the top causes. Because Covid does not usually cause severe illness in children, treat the fever with fever reducer and keep an eye out for any symptoms. (cough, fatigue, body aches, headache, sore throat, nausea/vomiting/diarrhea) If any of these arise, call your Dr for further instructions/testing.

Fever medicine first: You can give fever medications every 4-6 hours as needed. If the baby looks sick or gets other symptoms like coughing, sore throat, vomiting, etc ----- , he should be seen by the pediatrician for evaluation and giving the proper medications.
