Depends: It depends on the type and quality of thermometer, and location the temperature was taken. If you use a good rectal thermometer, then it should not be below 97.0 degrees. Other thermometers can be accurate or not depending on the quality and price. Other factors, such as eating and drinking can affect oral temperatures. A 96.3 deg child would feel cold.
