It depends : The main interaction between alcohol consumption and trazadone is increased drowsiness. You should avoid alcohol for several hours before bed as it may interfere with sleep (awakening a few hours later). There should be no negative effects after awakening for the morning from the trazadone in most people. (8 hours)
