No: You might have hypertension if your values are always like that (over 140/80 for a diabetic per ada newest guideline). See your physician for an evaluation and treatment.

You may need meds?: Even thoogh your BP is marginally high, you are a diabetic and your BP is little high, you should consult your doctor as you may need BP meds .That will also protect your kidneys.
