Known exposure: yes, I believe if you were exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID and find yourself with similar symptoms. Firstly, I would quarantine yourself as much as possible to limit possible spread. Secondly, I would get a COVID-19 test. There is a period in the early stages of the infection where you may not be producing enough antigen to cause the test to be positive and false negative too.
