My mom is confirmed positive with covid 19 and i was in contact with her when she got tested but i don't have any symptoms ?

This can happen.: It is possible to be around someone with a positive test and be without symptoms yourself. Either you have not contracted the illness even though exposed and you are without symptoms because you are negative for covid 19. Or you may test positive for the virus and still not have symptoms. Lastly you may have been exposed and you have yet to show symptoms which can occur in 4-5 days up to 14 days.

Agree with Dr, F: Please contact your doctor by phone for further evaluation and mechanism for testing in ZA. Wear a mask, stay away from others, practice hand hygiene. Be sure to get tested, if you get symptoms. If you develop breathing difficulty, go to the nearest hospital, immediately. Wish you good health.
