Good day! i would like to ask if it is safe to take isotretinion during menstrual period? i'm taking it for almost a month now as acne treatment, i thought this will cause to stop my period, but surprisingly it came yesterday. thank you :)

No effect: Isotretinoin does not change your menstrual cycle. That is why it is vital for women of childbearing age to have a pregnancy test before starting to take the medication and a new test every month before starting the next months treatment. You should be using two forms of birth control to prevent pregnancy as this medication can cause severe abnormalities in a developing fetus.
