Refractory headache: New onset headaches have to be investigated thoroughly as many times they are secondary to treatable conditions. Moreover, in rare cases they are due to life threatening conditions that need to be ruled out. In some cases, an immediate cause cannot be found and they fall in the migraine category for which preventive treatment is now available. See your doc to have your symptoms properly addressed.
