A member asked:

Inflammation in my body(caused me high blood pressure but it is managed now) have cholesterol now taking antibiotic but didn't work is that dangerous?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Vague: Inflammation is not a diagnosis it is a description of several processes that can be triggered by a variety of triggers. Antibiotics may or may not be helpful depending on the true diagnosis. There are conditions like auto-immune diseases that can be serious and cause inflammation. You need to have a proper history, exam & possibly testing to decide how important this is.
