Some basics: You are considered contagious from 2 days before symptoms start for at least 10 days thereafter. Yet some never have symptoms & the type of test used may be positive for weeks after they stop being contagious. You may or may not have been exposed. Being phlemy is not listed as a primary/common covid-19 symptom. Get tested if you wish.
