Not necessarily: The test can be negative if viral load is still quite low at time of testing, In that situation, if may become positive in the near future.

Wear a mask, stay away from others, practice hand hygiene. Be sure to get tested, if you get symptoms. If you develop breathing difficulty, go to the nearest hospital, immediately.
