Both testicles have been hard for about a year now doctor said they were ok over the phone even though he never looked at them (no lumps and they are about the same size)?

Your call: When /if an issue bothers you enough to go in and have an exam, you can find out if this is really a problem. At your age the testis are quite busy working & they may feel different than they did in past years. Bring it up at an in person checkup as an added issue.

Why are both testicles hard? Checked for STDs. Also checked by my doctor who said they were tender. 4 months on, they are definitely rock hard still. I'm sure what my doctor felt was the thick sack (when they're cold). No lumps or pain, still worried?
