Osgood-Schlatter: Is a common cause of knee pain in adolescent and teenagers and usually resolves by early adulthood. Other causes including anatomic and systemic are possible. Chances are an effective treatment is available. Consult an orthopedic surgeon, physiatrist or sports medicine doctor soon. Effective therapy is likely available and the sooner it is addressed, better long term prognosis is likely.
