Most likely: You have arthritis of some kind. You will need an exam to get to the bottom of this. Your general doctor should be able to figure out what is going on with a history, physical exam and possibly X-rays. Best of luck!

KNEE PAIN: Severe knee pain you need an exam baseline labs and knee X-ray . Given duration of knee pain a knee MRI would be indicated to define the anatomy and evaluate for structural damage. Also consult a PMR doctor for potential injections of platelets or stem cell therapy if this is severe arthritis . Lastly an ortho consult in case surgery is needed
