Wash, cover & watch: Inset bites can introduce bacteria from the skin and cause an infection within the skin. Initially, try to identify what kind of spider bit you. If it is a spider known as venomous, seek help immediately. For other bites, wash site with warm soap and water thoroughly. Pat dry, then apply antibacterial ointment/cover with a clean dry bandage.
