Post C/S bleeding: Bleeding is normal for two-three weeks after a C/S, because of shedding of the lining of the uterus. Retained placenta can also cause bleeding, so see your OB physician for a pelvic ultrasound. Some women may start their menses right after the C/S bleeding subsides. See your OB physician for an exam.
