My mom had a liver op to remove cancer as the primary. where he sealed the vent or ducts it started leaking again and now she has sam cancer same place 3 months later and next week she must go for same op ? is that negligence ? it keeps coming back.

It happens: One approach to cancer in only one organ is total removal of that organ. Since the patient would die without at least part of that organ remaining, the surgeon tries to remove all the tumor, but that may not be obvious in such a location. A determination of negligence would only be possible with a full review of all data/reports.
