Is it necessary to go to a doctor if i have tick fever? or can i just go to the pharmacy for some meds?

Tick related dz: I don't know what region of the US you live in. However there are a number of different tick borne diseases. They can differ depending on your location. Since, I don't know what tick fever you have, I would be conservative and recommend evaluation.

Doctor visit: If you have definitely had a tick bite & now have a fever you need a Dr exam to evaluate the seriousness of your illness. You made need some lab tests done & most likely an antibiotic prescription. Do not take any chances with this.
