Baker's Cyst: Baker's or Popliteal Cyst can cause swelling in back of knee, pain, stiffness & difficulty bending the knee.

Agree with Dr. F: Basker cyst is the usual culprit. Do not try to treat it yourself, in case of the rare circumstance that it is popliteal artery aneurysm.
