How long does it take for a popliteal or baker's cyst to develop after a torn meniscus in the knee?

Orthopedic Surgery 27 years experience
Variable: Bakers cyst can appear pretty quickly or not at all. They are a symptom of a meniscus tear or arthritis in the knee and appear and disappear over short and long periods of time.
