Contraceptive: Any Family planning center or Gyn Dr can remove your old implant and replace it with a new one. Since the current one is expired, use an alternate form of birth control until the new one is inserted and functioning for 10 days. Implanted contraceptives do not protect you from STI's, only pregnancy. Use a condom to prevent against STI's.
