Hi i am 25. in the past 5 years my tsh and t4 have gone down. newest test say 0.56 and 12. (still in range) should i be concerned that it keeps dropping? my mother has hyperthyroidism.

Thyroid: Having both TSH and T4 low suggests secondary hypothyroidism due to pituitary failure. For this problem you should really be evaluated by an endocrinologist.

Hyperthyroidism: The hereditary pattern of hyperthyroidism is somewhat complex, but clusters of it can occur in families and your chances of developing it are higher than average. Abnormally low TSH would be one of the first parameters to be seen. Continue your monitoring and familiarize yourself with symptoms of hyperthyroidism.
