A member asked:

If a male child has always been in the 75th percentile for height, then went through early puberty (not precocious), then ended up in the 15th percentile for adult height, does this indicate that his growth was stunted?

Hard to say: Final height is a complex interaction between genetic factors, diet & general health. Males are expected to reach the average of both parents final height plus 2.5 in +/-. Puberty sends out hormonal factors that initially speed but then finalize height. Any such label would require more information than that listed. Early puberty is a factor that limits final height.
