Hypertension: Do you take your own blood pressure at home? If yes, are your numbers running high? Please let your doctor know promptly if you have increased BP with significant headache.

BP: If you are having headache, you should probably be seen. A blood pressure of greater than 180/120 is considered urgency. This elevation in BP and associated symptoms of stroke, chest pain or renal problems defines hypertensive emergency.
