Hip pain: Hip pain can be arthritis, but at 17 unlikely unless you would have concern for an autoimmune problem such as rheumatoid arthritis. Slipped capitus femoris and perthes disease are more for younger group. Hip bruise or a trochanteric bursitis more likely. Another common problem would be tensor fascia lata.
