A member asked:

Is it ok to not have any ultrasound till 4th month of pregnancy? i didnt go to medical centers because of covid-19.

It happens: An ultrasound has become standard of care during pregnancy as it can identify problems that would otherwise be missed. This allows remediation of treatable issues & assurance in healthy cases that things are going well. Remember that many decades ago women had successful pregnancies without this test. I would get it when you can.

Ultrasound: I agree with Dr. Ferguson. Some things are outside of our control. At least in the US, most medical clinics are up and running and using excellent disease control measures. I would go ahead and schedule for your ultrasound now. As stated earlier, women were having babies long before the ultrasound was invented.
