No: Most neurofibromas do not require treatment. However the only treatment is surgical removal.

Neurofibroma: Surgery is of help if the lesions are compressing organs or causing nerve damage. There are no medications and sometimes chemotherapy is needed. Seek a specialist in this genetic disorder. Good luck !
