Start after test: Once you confirm with a pregnancy test that you are not pregnant you can start your birth control pills as directed by your doctor that prescribed them to you. Since you do not have periods at this time, you are not likely ovulating every month. Therefore, the first day of your pills can be any day after confirmation that you are not pregnant.
