Cellulite Cellulitis: You may have been thinking of Cellulite. Cellulitis is a different condition and involved infection.

No, it is not.: Cellulitis is an infection of the skin where there would be redness, swelling, usually pain, and often fever. Cellulite is from fat deposits and appears as dimpling of the skin, usually of the buttocks, thighs, and belly. It is not an infection and not painful or red. Weight loss and exercise may help cellulite. Cellulitis would require an urgent visit to your doctor for treatment.
