GERD: GERD is a reflux of gasric fluids into the lower esophagus. This is typically caused by relaxation of the lower esophageal sphincter. GERD is noted in 50% of infants. The peak of incidence is at 4 months. Typically this is a problem that will pass. 10 spits ups in and hour is alot. Fussiness may be the sign of an infection. I would let your provider know.
