I am 66 and on 5 mg of crestor. my total cholesterol is 181. my triglycerides are 201, hdl-50, ldl-99. ratio is 3.6. is this good or bad?

Depends: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, your triglyceride is higher than desired. If you are overweight. losing weight will help. Wish you good health!

My recent cholesterol report after fasting is as follows: Chol/HDLC Ratio = 2.9, Cholesterol Total = 257, Non HDL Cholesterol = 168, Triglycerides = 43, HDL Cholesterol = 89, and LDL Cholesterol = 155. How good or bad is this? Any suggestions?
