COVID 19: If one can't stay elsewhere initially, can you limit yourself more to the bedroom and he stay out of it? Wear a mask. Try to maintain at least 6 feet from him. Ventilate area well. Wash hands (or use sanitizer) often for at least 20 seconds. Wash hands before touching eyes, nose or mouth. Clean/ disinfect frequently used surfaces.

COVI-19: You should wear a mask and try to stay at least six feet apart. There is some evidence that a combination of vitamin C and N-acetylcysteine (NAC) might off some protection against getting COVID-19. One of you should probably sleep on the couch for now. At your age the chance of becoming seriously ill with COVID-19 is quite low.
