Infection: If you haven't had a yeast infection in the past, it is best to be checked by a doctor to insure that this is actually the right organism. If you have had them before & this is like the rest go ahead and treat. Over- the- counter medicines for yeast infections include: Micon 7, Monistat, Vagistat, Gynazole, Femcare, Gyne-lotrimin & Mycelex.
