Yeast?: Amoxicillin and other antibiotics can predispose to vaginal candida (yeast) infections, by suppressing normal bacteria that keep yeast in check. Vulvar irritation and painful urination are common yeast symptoms, especially if the burning is "outside", i.e. comes primarily from urine contacting the vaginal opening, labia, etc. Contact your ObG or the doctor who prescribed the amoxicillin.
