No connection: Seasonique is an estrogen & progesterone containing oral contraceptive. Symptoms of vaginal atrophy, including loss of vaginal rugae, are associated with estrogen deficiency. If you are taking this pill (which contains estrogen) you should not have loss of vaginal rugae. Talk to your Dr about this concern. A physical exam can help identify problems and causes.
