I have recently switched contraceptive pills after taking the same one for two years. my period is now late, can i skip a period from switching pills?

Yes: Hormones in pills are different and can make a period late. Do a pregnancy test if negative a period should come with in the next 4 weeks if not seek advice from a physician. I hope all is well with you.
