Tinea versicolor ?: Spots that are skin colored, lighter in colr, or light brown with fine scale can be minor skin infection called tines versicolor. This responds to selenium sulfide shampoo used for 5 minutes a day for two weeks.Resistant cases can be treated with topical or oral ketoconazole.

Need eval to know: These lesions need to be visualized & a history needs to be obtained in order to make an accurate diagnosis. Sometimes lab testing or biopsy is necessary.
