Two weeks after i did the laparoscopic surgery. my belly but has not fully healed, what can i use? also, is it safe to use surgical spirit to dry it? i was not given any dressing.

Abdominal surgery: Telfa pads with gauze dressing is best. i would advise you to see your surgeon for follow up if your wounds arent healing. hope that helps

Post surgery: I agree with Dr. Veres. The Telfa non-adherent dressings can be purchase at pretty much any drug store. They are safe to use. Any time you are concerned about post-surgical outcome - call your doctor's surgeon's office to ask about it.
