I had laparoscopic gallbladder surgery. pain around belly button area. how much scarring and nerve damage takes place with this surgery?

Although outside my neurology specialty, have had many of my patients undergo laparoscopic approach, and agree it is far safer with less morbidity than open procedure. If you tend to scar, you may have some cosmetic issues, but cannot understand how this procedure would cause any "nerve damage", usually.
